Our department specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of rheumatological conditions such as inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease and osteoporosis.
There are many rheumatic diseases, more than 250 (for example: rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, lupus, lumbago and gout etc.) that can affect people of any age, from children to adults, though rheumatological diseases in children are rare, but potentially serious. Among adults they are much more frequent and in Spain it affects one in four adults. In fact, it’s the second cause of consultation, after acute respiratory infections, in Primary Care.
Our doctors deal with a large range of rheumatology conditions and we offer ongoing support and treatment for those with long term conditions.
We aim to treat the many patients in our community who suffer with:

- Other Rheumatic Conditions
Our doctors and our staff are dedicated to the needs of our patients.
